Mr.Darcy presents his Bride - Helen Halstead
If you’re a fan of Jane Austen and you LUV pride & prejudice then you’ll always have wanted to know what happens to Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy and you’ll have gone and went on to read fanfiction sequels. I have come across many sequels and I find that Helen Halstead has mastered that throne!
I was happy that the beginning was heavily inspired by the original and was greatful that Halstead’s style so correlated with Austen’s. It isn’t often that a sequel written by another can so smoothly add on to the original.
I really enjoyed reading more about Mary, Kitty and Lidiya. They’re characters developed far more and won a lot of depth in my opinion.
This book will not disappoint, you will get what you so loved in the original but Halstead has added a few nice twists to the story that will not let you but this book down. The relationship between Elizabeth and Darcy is the focal point, but also their own emotional development.
I won’t add a Blurb since the original P&P is pretty much it.
