the one place they sometimes end up falling asleep – where they’re not supposed to: she usually doesn’t, because Aline’s kind of meticulous like that. BUT, when she’s had a little too much wine, Helen will find Aline passed out on the bathroom floor or in the bathtub. and depending on how much Helen’s had to drink, she usually just leaves her there or tries and fails to carry her out.

the game they’d destroy everyone else at: Aline is very competitive, so she tries to win at everything and usually does. but she wipes the floor with Alec and everyone else with Mario Kart. Magnus is awesome competition for that.

the emoticon they’d use most often: the smirking one, or the heart eyes. she’s also partial to the red hearts.

what they act like when they haven’t had enough sleep: she drinks too much coffee and gets a sugar high for about two hours before crashing for the rest of the evening. Helen will give her a piggy back ride to their bedroom and Aline will snuggle into her shoulder and drag her into bed with her for cuddles.

their preferred hot beverage on really cold nights. or mornings. or whenever: tea. she has a dedicated cabinet for her all of her teas and Helen thinks she’s crazy.

how they like to comfort/care for themselves when they’re in a slump: Aline reads until she can’t. but more often than that, her temper will get the better of her, and she’ll beat up a stuffed dummy in the training room until her knuckles are bruised and bloody, or she’ll ask Helen to spar with her. for such a shorty her temper is really explosive.

what they wanted to be when they grew up: she once thought of being an Iron Sister. but then she met Helen, and then that changed, and then Wrangel Island took everything away from the both of them, so.

their favorite kind of weather: Winter. she’s always loved the winters in Idris, and even though it’s much colder in the middle of the arctic, it’s still really pretty to her.

thoughts on their singing voice (decent? terrible? soprano? alto?): she can’t sing at all, not like her own mother or her wife, so she just listens to Helen instead.

how/what they like to draw or doodle: she’ll doodle a lot of flowers if she gets bored, and she’s actually not bad at them at all.

the one place they sometimes end up falling asleep – where they’re not supposed to: mostly at the Institute. it’s not like he’s not allowed to stay there, because Alec, but it’s just unusual. usually it’s Alec falling asleep at his place and not the other way around.

the game they’d destroy everyone else at: somehow, Magnus always manages to get the blue shells in mario kart.

the emoticon they’d use most often: the winky face with it’s tongue sticking out. or the sparkle one (😜✨).

what they act like when they haven’t had enough sleep: Miserable with a capital M. whether it was a long night of no sleep or a long day of using magic, when Magnus is tired he’s all groans and droopy eyes and cuddling into Alec’s side like a cat.

their preferred hot beverage on really cold nights. or mornings. or whenever: coffee, at any time of the day.

how they like to comfort/care for themselves when they’re in a slump: lots and lots of shopping with Isabelle.

what they wanted to be when they grew up: Magnus wanted to go on adventures. he wanted to travel the world, and not be tethered anywhere.

their favorite kind of weather: fall. his best clothes are fall clothes.

thoughts on their singing voice (decent? terrible? soprano? alto?): I think he has an…alright voice? Magnus will burst out in song (usually ones from musicals or ‘Thriller’ around Halloween time) regardless of how he sounds.

how/what they like to draw or doodle: he’s better at drawing than he is at singing, but he doesn’t doodle too often or much at all. if and when he does, some corners of his notes or books have hearts or cat-eyes that blink with magic.
