REUNION (superfeypower&heliosborn)
The music pounded throughout Warren's body as he twisted, danced and twirled around the night club. He weaved his way through bodies, glistening in sweat, drinks spilling from their hands held high. His fingers casually slipped over skin, clothes and hair, grasping only brief strands of energy from the mass of bodies before pushing them away. He was looking for a very specific energy, one he had been chasing down for what seemed like an eternity, trying to find it since it had last up and ran away.
A glimmer here and then kept him on the hunt, brought him down to the Deep South - where he probably wasn't too welcomed - and kept him on a never-ending goose chase. And it wasn't that he was so obsessed that he had to be by its side forever, no, he just needed it. Like the moon needs the sun, it was a strange balance to his life. But, of course, it needed space. Confinement seemed to terrify it. Commitment seemed to terrify it even more. That was ok. He could make it work.
So he searched, keeping on its coattails, minding his own business but still ever hunting, ever waiting to find that glowing sunspot - he assumed it would only happen when Zeke was ready though. And though he wouldn't admit it, he hoped it was soon.
