Do you think bf!4C still wonders if the rogue god was right? If he should have stayed in hell?
Because god told him that Nom would find out what he did, and that he didn’t deserve his cloak. He told him that before 4C even knew himself what he did. And when he got home, he realized god was right about that.
And then he talks to Nom, and suddenly Nom is talking about how he wants to have the final say. He means that he wants control his secrets and his life, to choose what he shares or doesn’t. But 4C knows that the Final Say was the name of the champion that wore Nom’s appearance. Again, it seems like god knew more than anyone should be able to, more than 4C himself, stuff that hasn’t even happened yet.
And if he was right about those things, what if he was right about everything else? What if the kingdom really is better off without him? What if his friends really don’t care for him?
While he was in hell, he could believe that everything god said was just lies to torture him, but he knows now that that isn’t the case. Which leaves him with the question of just how much of it was true?
