Just a thought I wanted to share, but like... Thinking about the progression of Kevin’s relationship with other manor dwellers makes me a little soft. I’d imagine he might not get the best “rep” with the girls very often since he’s so flirty, but I like to imagine they’d eventually realize that he really IS honestly protective of them and isn’t always just trying to win their attention. He’s just got his own demons and wants them to be safe even at the cost of his own health. And Kevin eventually opening up to some of the male survivors who he intrinsically views in their worst light due to thinking *he’s* not enough and apologizing for his earlier behaviour and just... Growth. I love my little cowboy. 🌻

YES!! Feels like he’s the kind of character who has a lot of love to give for others, but he never allows it for himself, so for Kevin to slowly overcome his fears and looking forward to the future instead of looking back is... uuu ; v ; Can’t keep protecting others if you’re not looking out for yourself either right? Little steps and mantras to slowly change his outlook, and maybe see himself the way the other survivors do. (I can imagine Emily does her best to hammer this into his head whenever he shows up at her door injured af)

Oh, on the topic of Kevin! Early on I was fond of him potentially becoming friends with Wu Chang, or Bi'an specifically- since they both know what it’s like to lose someone and blame themselves for it. For Wujiu I think they could spark up a rivalry. Additionally, a dynamic between him and Michiko also interests me. I think Michiko would find it wearingly endearing that he'd care so much for a woman he doesn't know. Not like it matters anymore, but the thought is enough to break her tight lip.
