you know honestly at this point i don't even think my disordered eating is centered around worrying i'll gain weight it's just the sheer fact that literally NOTHING ever tastes exactly the same to me and so not only am i picky but i have zero predictability.
literally nothing. genuinely nothing. things may taste similar for like. a few minutes. if it's something like...idk ritz crackers, but give it a few minutes and i can taste the difference in the crackers as they're sitting in the air. i can taste how "stale" they are if i open the same package the next day, even if i do my damnedest to make sure i seat the package back up. chips never taste the same because not every chip has the exact same amount of flavoring. pb&j's never taste the same to me because the bread is always different [even though i buy the same brand!!!!] and the consistency of peanut butter to jelly is always different. frozen chicken nuggets never taste the same to me because they're always at different levels of cooked. some are more crispy than others, leaving more of a burnt taste. some are more bready than others.
like. hOW DO PEOPLE HANDLE IT?????? nothing tastes the same!!!!!!! ever!!!!!!!!!! not even "processed" foods!!!!!!!!!!!! i remember reading a post that was like "autistic people tend to prefer processed foods because they taste the same every time" and i'm just like!!!!! no the fuck they [the foods] do not!!!!!!
am I upset I'm not eating because I'm a little hungry but nothing is what I want but I don't even know what I want? yes absolutely I'm about to cry over it
