Hi, it's dysphemistics (I asked about Alison Weir a while ago). I just wanted to say, I know Weir is a historian and probably shouldn't add false info, but I think you have to remember I don't think she expects historians to read her fiction books. They're more aimed at the public for entertainment.

That of course works for her fiction books, but she shouldn't add false information into her "history" books. Even with her disclaimer. Historical fiction is great, and I'm sure people love her work, but if all of her work is just that, she shouldn't call some of it history.

Just saying, I'm actually fond of both KoA and Mary Tudor, but as a Jew there is no way in absolute fucking hell that I would love someone who actively PERSECUTED AND HATED my people.

Can anyone tell me why PG would have Katherine of Aragon CONSUMMATE HER MARRIAGE WITH ARTHUR? She-she does realize that she damned KoA to hell, right?

Actually, it hasn't been proven either way. KoA's virginity when she married Henry is a very large debate, and most likely always will be.
