it's so common for us to use "us" "we" and "ours" and seemingly speak in third person that I think we forget how much it throws off other people. it makes sense to us, but to the regular unknowing individual I'm sure it's confusing when I slip out a "we"

mainly because they probably assume there's another physical person with us lmao but there is something safe in that too
