and in the on-going 'awkward moments with my flatmate' stories, he just came home, made a cup of tea silently in the kitchen while i was sitting in here, and then shut himself away in the living room.
LIKE, DUDE. LEARN SOME SOCIAL SKILLS. or— fuck that. it's not even social skills. LEARN TO BE POLITE. a simple, "hey, how's your day been?" would do wonders. he makes the atmosphere in this flat feel uncomfortable and i've probably been too accommodating. i've let him do it, so now he doesn't see any need to change or improve.
i really hope he has a friend who's ready to move in here when i move out, because very few strangers will be as tolerant as i am of the way he chooses to interact.
and i'm really, really ready to be out of this flatshare.
