When my mom had cancer (she kicked cancer’s ass, she’s awesome, all good now), I ended up behaving a lot like Feralnette, but much more withdrawn. I didn’t lash out, but I tried to be as hard to approach as possible.

It felt like a month. I genuinely thought it was. But time passes differently when you’re in pain. It was around a week.
