yes!! like, it's definitely the thought that counts :) i got a couple of other things too that i wished for so i was really really happy about it all! and i also had a very lovely day in general which just made it all so much better. don't think i remember having such a nice christmas i think :)

im screaming i love i had rather, thats one of my favorite fics of all time !!! I haven’t read the sequel yet but O mg. I’m usually the same way abt WIPs so I feel u, definitely check it out when its finished :)

yesssssssssssssssssss!!!!!!  the sequel (mostly) actually starts partway through I Had Rather, with Louis seeing the pics in Heat, and goes up to Guy Fawkes night rn. But is still a hugely different story in this way that is really really masterful bc seeing things from Louis’ perspective puts so many things in a different light. Like, everything. It’s just incredible. Even if wanting to know what happens next is keeping my deep in the feels!! (if it helps, sunsetmog has discussed here). But anyway yeah, it’s just as incredible as I Had Rather, and does all the same amazing things in terms of gut-wrenchingness and emotional resonance and sex that is revealing and intense and the opposite of tacked on and general omgness, def recommend!

(I realize I usually only rec drarry fic, but y’all....do it. It’s not my ship, it’s not my kinks, I probably wouldn’t have read it if not for @anemonensblog‘s influence (she has never steered me wrong), but holy shit. Do. It.)

have you read hermione granger's hogwarts crammer for delinquents on the run? i had a similar night and ended up reading it and it was definitely the call. its unfinished rn but the cliffhanger is Super manageable.

i haven’t yet because it’s a wip, but it’s on my list when it’s finished. it might not be a bad cliffhanger, but wips are not my jam for other reasons, mostly finding it harder than i’d like to remember where I am and/or losing track of what’s going on between updates (plus atm any wip energy I have is absorbed by this)
