“& what exactly are these other things?” his tone was almost accusatory, though mostly curious. a single eyebrow was raised as he met the other’s stare, tilting his head slightly to the side, as if by doing so, he’d be able to get a new perspective & read the other better. it had been months since he had last seen him, yet his memory did not fail him. things were never carried that far because it was him who hadn’t allowed it, given their professional relationship back then.
“you have a lot of nerve to come before me after what you pulled.” no notice or anything. just banished like that & leaving stardust without a bartender. luckily, he had found a fitting replacement for him—one that wouldn’t be so difficult or constantly try to test him by pushing boundaries. even if he was not exactly thrilled to meet the other again, any anger or the like that he had experience before was long gone by now, replaced with indifference. “i appreciate your concern, but it’s not necessary.” his voice reflected his nonchalant attitude, dismissing the other with an uninterested stare. “you’re no longer welcomed to the club, so i suggest you avoid paying it any visits.”
