Hellboy: The Crooked Man. Appalachian folk horror featuring Hellboy. Sorta like Hellboy meets Evil Dead II. I had a great time with this one.

The movie is just a whole hell of a lot of fun. Hellboy smoking cigarettes and scrapping his way through monsters and zombies and witches in old Appalachia. It’s a great premise with great cinematography, great action scenes, great monster design, and a great lead performance from Jack Kesy.
