Alter snaps back to reality and sees Pai/Satan reaching for him, to make his blubbery vision come true! Not having that he books it back to the elevator only to find the button doesn’t bring it back! Looking to the side he sees the next best option and as much as it pains him, he decides to go for them.
Taking a minute to catch his breath, he checks his wrist computer, which has turned into a fancy watch, that informs him that his files have corrupted the game and the only escape is completion.
As he starts to download the specs to the game, a cloud of shadows appear next to him! Before he can run however, Mae appears and grabs his shoulder, reminding him how she trained him for this day since he was made before handing him a sword and gun, then vanishing as quickly as she showed up.
The specs finish downloading and Alter learns he’s going to have a long, difficult fight ahead of him, each stairwell is on opposite sides of the floors of the building and each floor has enemies ready to stop him by any means necessary. He steadies himself and prepares to fight.
As he enters the first room, he sees a small shadow spirit creature, similar to Sombra...but wrong... He pulls out his gun and takes a shot, hitting the creature dead on, causing it to inflate slightly and evaporate into smoke with a small pop.
At the same time he feels himself get slightly thinner and his clothes get looser, putting two and two together, he figures the gun uses his own body weight as ammo and presumably transfers it to his target. Being as he’s already pretty thin he decides to let his sword do the talking for now, feeling it buzz with energy as other creatures swarm out of the shadows and start surrounding him...
