"Calling in a hero" ⬆⬇➡⬅⬆➡➡ It's been a year since I've made some fanart for this game, so I'm going to get back into the grind of making more this year. I won't stop making other fanarts though, or originals either. I just wanted to prioritize on making work for one piece of media, especially since I have a story in the works for the Helldivers I have in the making, so stay tuned.

I wasn't able to upload yesterday due to the fact I was at a party, setting up stuff and then some. So I was pretty tired afterward. So here's what I was supposed to upload: Otani in his suit, with and without the helmet, and also his beautiful body to fit with the rest of his character.

Otani expression sheet. I wanted to explore different faces and attitudes he might display on the battlefield (mostly silly). It was nice trying these out, and I can't wait to get back to him to try out more expressions, not just for others to react to but for his friends and enemies alike.

So I was developing more perks after making the reference sheet. I couldn't be content with just 6, so I made 18 instead. Before it used to be two perks per mission, but now I bumped it up to three because, fuck it, why not? Play out your destiny warlock fantasies for the better (or worse, depending on who's playing).

"Calling in a Psycorps ⬅⬅⬇⬆⬇➡➡" A certain Vinesian character was popping up in my mind recently without stop, so as all sane artists do, I had to hyperfixate on that character for a bit, and here we are.

I've been meaning to make some Helldivers 2 fanart, but seeing how my work flow was caught up, I didn't have the time...until now. I hope you guys enjoy this piece as much as I did making it.
