happy Lenaia to everyone and especially to Dionysus devotees/worshipers who either cannot drink wine for whatever reason or choose not to for whatever reason! i’m with y’all as someone who is completely sober for multiple reasons and i wish you the best in celebrating a wine-based festival while sober. whether you’re using a nonalcoholic substitute like juice (or, in my case, energy drinks) or just forgoing any beverage-based traditions altogether, i hope you feel invigorated for the reawakening of nature and the love of Dionysus in your spirit! your sobriety does not hinder your practice nor your devotion to Dionysus 💜

hanging out with my main altar today. i went to the beach to watch the sunrise and brought back a jar of sea water and made khernips with it for the gods. i had a bad panic attack last night and just needed to be with them. i always have a place to come home

someone is on anon and is copy-pasting the same message into our inboxes.

if you get an ask that says something about not putting our religion in deity tags (they specifically say Zeus and Hera) because people don’t want to see the intimate parts of our worship, that’s the ask being sent to a lot of blogs

i already answered my ask with a response about it, but since i’ve seen it a few times now, i thought id let yall know that it’s just bait and you don’t need to respond. if you want to, feel free to copy and paste my response to your post.
