Spell Diaries #1:

so, i did my first baby spell yesterday. specifically, it was this one:

now, you may be thinking: ah, that’s pretty simple - how did it go? well...

i almost lit my room on fire so that’s... that’s groovy.

but don’t worry! i still managed to burn the two pages (a much smaller burn on the second) and disposed of them with care! so, i would consider it a success!

(interestingly enough, this morning i received two messages on a dating app, one from someone i’d had my eye on and another from someone i haven’t been able to speak to lately so... that’s a plus! it could be a coincidence buuuuuut i felt i should include it anyhow.)

oh! i also did baby’s first sigil so THAT was pretty nice~ i specifically did the one for protection against disease and illness and i hung it up in my room. (my stepfather wouldn’t approve so i’m keeping things in the broom closet, so to speak.

i found these sigils on tumblr thought i don’t remember by who. if i can find the initial post i’ll add credit here! (edit: i personally found this from silverwitch here on Tumblr)

anywho, that was my first leap into actual spells so that’s pretty darn exciting! i figured i’d share with you all!

So i guess... Reintro post?

Age: 25

Ive been studying witchcraft on and off for years.. My dad was Wiccan, and explained some but not much info, before he could really help me to learn, he passed on. I then stayed with my very anti-witchcraft (or anything to do with my dad) biological mom and was forced to throw away any and all books id managed to save from our storage locker. I tried once or twice to do a couple spells, but she always caught me and destroyed everything soo, i stopped.. Fast forward about twelve years, and i found a book on green witchcraft, as well as a copy of a book my dad had suggested to me.. So i began again. I even bought a tarot deck to practice with. And then i met my husband, who noticed my necklace and revealed hed been practicing since he was 13. Since then weve been working both together and separately, depending on the situation.

Im still very new to hellenisim. Ive been researching for about 3 months, and have been working primarily with Haides and Persephone, but i am interested in working with other deities as well, and while im still intruiged by all aspects of witchcraft, my current interests are divination, spells and candle magic.

Id really like to have others to talk to about things, so if you'd like to, feel free to shoot me a message!

baby witch’s first spell jar! a love spell at that!

i used basil, hibiscus, rosemary, and rose oil. i wrote my name and the name of the person i’m trying to attract on a piece of paper, folded it, and tucked it in the jar. i then, while shaking the bottle, murmured words to express my intent to take already existing affection and allow it to flourish and grow. then i sealed the jar with red candle wax and am leaving it next to my rose quartz on my altar. i’d also taken the liberty to carve a love sigil onto the cork before the wax was applied.

i’m sure there are better ingredients i could’ve used but i made with what i had. my first ever spell jar and i’m really proud of it!

hi! my name is Diamond but you can call me Dia~ 🌿

i’m what you may call... a baby witch. i only recently finished my initial jump into research and performed my first cleansing of myself, my home, and my altar/work space and i’m feeling pretty good.

i even have a little herb and witchy drawer so to speak to store my items and it’s just starting, i know. BUT, i’m a sucker for organization and i look forward to keeping inventory of things! (yeeesssss i love notes~)
