Last month, the Chimera Court Discord held our meeting over Spiritual Protection and Warding! It was a lot of fun! We had some good discussions about what wards are, how to make them, and everyone's different strategies and methods. We also made one physical ward and one energetical ward.

Happy May, witches! Pardon the lateness of the newsletter. SOMEBODY, who shall remain nameless, had a bit of a Beltane / birthday hangover and chose rest and recovery over work. (The decision may or may not have been made for me by two very insistent cats.) Hopefully, you’re all enjoying some pleasant weather and playing in the dirt to your hearts’ content.
Having just refreshed my own community bonds, I’ve decided that this month is the perfect time to feature products related to joy and connection. This protection jar was made for a loved one for Home Protection. This spellwork was performed during The Conjunction of Moon and Mars in Aquarius.
Tools Used:
glass jar
piece of paper
Black candle
My Black Salt
Lavender
Chamomile
Table Salt
Garden Sage
Cinnamon
Cloves
Basil
Ginger
Crushed Red Pepper flakes
Pink Himalayan salt
Cayenne powder
Intention of Tools:
glass jar ⟵ put the herbs and spices into
piece of paper ⟵ write the spell/prayer/petition on it and then at the end burn it and then put the ashes in the jar as a top layer.
Black candle ⟵ Protection, purification, banishing of negative and evil energies and entities.
My Black Salt ⟵ (What is Black Salt?) used for protection, cleansing and banishing negative energies/entities, and to elevate/amplify the energy of the spell jar.
Lavender ⟵ Cleansing and removing negative and evil energies/entities. Protection against evil and negative energies/entities and psychic attack. Releasing energy of past traumas. Warding off nightmares. Remove energetic blockages. Peacefulness and relaxation.
Chamomile ⟵ Protection and purification. Removing and cleansing of negative energies. Shields against negative energy. Prevents nightmares.
Table Salt ⟵ Protection and purification. Domestic harmony. Spiritual protection and releasing unwanted influences.
Garden Sage ⟵ Moon. Protection and purification. Removing negative energies and energies of past traumas. Creates a field of protective energy that protects against negative energy.
Cinnamon ⟵ Protection and purification. Ward off negative energy/entities, psychic attack, and harmful influences. Enhance the energy and intentions of the spellwork.

Cayenne powder ⟵ Mars. Protection. Enforcing boundaries. Ward off evil and negative energies/entities. Deflecting ill will. Used in protection and banishment spells. Creates an impenetrable boundary or shield against harm. Dismantles hexes. Amplifies spells and intentions and power of rituals. Very potent energy. How To Perform:
Light Black candle
Write down the energies you are calling upon and the spell/prayer/petition on a piece of paper
Call upon the energies you are working with
Recite the spell/prayer/petition 3-4 times
Begin putting the herbs and spices into the glass jar in no particular order in layers: My Black Salt, Lavender, Chamomile, Table Salt, Garden Sage, Cinnamon, Cloves, Basil, Ginger, Crushed Red Pepper flakes, Pink Himalayan salt rocks, and Cayenne powder.
Recite the spell/prayer/petition 3-4 times
Burn piece of paper with spell/prayer/petition
Recite the spell/prayer/petition while it burns
Put the ashes of the paper with spell/prayer/petition into the jar as a top layer
Close the jar and recite the spell/prayer/petition while holding the jar in your hands

i have placed this in a spot that i walk past every day, next to my front door. i can absolutely say that this has worked for me in so many ways.
what i am unsure to do is when to update my money spell bowl - whether i do it monthly or seasonal. i guess that's a choice i'll make with further research and what feels right
