Hello there! Soooo I’ve returned (long needed hautus) I’ve been getting back into the groove of things here’s a little something from my notes on deities (to any of you concerned with a lesser experienced witch, don’t worry. I am vetting and have not done anything more yet). (

only posting 1 for now)

Nyx (may work with, vetting) - connections with night+other fears

Goddess of night

Color: 

jet-black and starlit color

symbolism of a black veil to create night (find a black veil/table cloth to cover the altar)

purple as well (for amethyst) also try wearing one? 

Offerings/Objects that relate to her: 

Enjoy amethyst (related to psychic powers, which she also works with) 

Moons of Pluto also representative of Nyx 

(stars, moon, night sky) 

white and red poppies 

horses? seen in some interpretations 

Known for/Roles

Birthed light (eros, golden wings) 

supposedly similar to Hekate (psychic powers)

The Titanomachy

So, i figured it was about time I redraw a bunch of old Mythos pieces, starting here!

One of the major additions/changes in Mythos, Demeter is, for a very long time, neutral in the war. She doesn’t agree with Kronos, but realizes that his leadership gives stability, and Zeus’s violent, overzealous revolt disrupts this. More importantly, it puts her and her young daughter Kore in grave danger, being both Titans.

Demeter is incredibly over-protective, fleeing into the Greek countryside for the first half of the war, eventually allying herself with Zeus due to Hera’s persistence, but still refusing to fight.

hey quick thing: Demeter was created by Khaotic energy, sort of adopted under the reigning king, Kronos, and is the embodiment of flora and fertility of the Earth. She’s born as an adult, and quick creates/spawns a fatherless daughter, whom she names Kore, to represent the spring. 

Also, at the time of the Titanomachy, Seph/Kore is around six years old (gods age weirdly but that’s the closest approximation) and Hades, the Youngest Eldest of the Three Brothers, is around nine. Zeus, the Youngest Eldest, is around sixteen-ish.

((im going to make a post featuring a timeline but all you need to know rn is that Kronos, being time, being busy fighting the war, disregards his duties to keep the flow going.))

So, I only included specifically Titan children of Gaea and Ouranos, meaning nobody except the titans. I will supplement this later with like, monsters, and ocean family trees, but for now it’s just the titans. 

fun fact, I started working on this back in early April, literally the same weekend i finished the Primordial Tree.
