I really want the situationship between Mapicc and Flame to work out, imagine a garde dog x guard dog relationship.

I need Flame to prove to Mapicc how far his loyalty goes, I need him to fight Mane off of Mapicc and help him excape, I need Mapicc to hear how invested in protecting him Flame would get, hear the panic in his voice.

I need Mapicc to become protective of Flame after realising he's got his back, I need Flame to realise how badly other teamates have treated him because of Mapicc standing up to him and defending him not only in combat.

I need them to believe the other is the only thing they have left, I need them to cling onto eachother so tight their claws dig into the other until they bleed.
