and how everything has been taken away from him over and over

how in exile, dream repeatedly blew up all his items and progress over and over again, and eventually logstedshire itself. how he repeatedly put in so much work for it all to just be taken from him

how he put his heart and soul into building the big innit hotel with sam nook, only for jack manifold to just take it from him upon his death and resurrection

and now, how tommy actually does have stuff now, not a ton, but still a good bit of it... but he hides it all in that vault in pogtopia and does his best to appear absolutely dirt poor to the rest of the server

...the reasons for that may run a little deeper than just hoping people will give him free stuff
