After a few hours of increasing worry and anxiety he exploded. "What the heck man?!"

At least Scott looked apologetic. "Sorry, it's just that you smell strongly to someone else. It takes time for our wolves to get used to it."

Stiles blinked, confused. "What?"

"We would be better if you had told us you were serious with someone." Malia added.

The words didn't make sense. A sudden buzz left Stiles temporary def, started to freak out, his breathing coming in short gasps because they seemed serious. "Dude, I'm not…" his voice faltered. "I'm not seeing anyone."

i'm proud of you for showing up for yourself even when the strength to place your head upon your soul is so minimal, the act itself of happening feels something to doubt of. i'm proud of you for persevering and letting things drift without holding too tightly on what burns your fingertips for now. courage is also to try and not only to succeed. even if you're 'just existing' for your own liking, that is still part of you and these days still matter as part of your occurring as a person. tell yourself you still have things to get to, things to feel differently other than lowly for, things that are still behind the curtain of uncertainty but that doesn't mean they do not exist.
