National Letter Writing Month

National Letter Writing Month officially kicked off on April 1, 2014. It just so happened that one of stationery designers that I follow on Instagram posted this to her feed:

Can you imagine my delight stumbling upon this exciting news! As a designer, I find that I have I don't write handwritten letters as often as I should. But seeing this post I was suddenly inspired! I'm not sure if it was the cute letterpress cards or what, but I know I needed to get busy writing, again. EggPress and HelloLucky teamed and the Write_On challenge was born: to write 30 letters in 30 days. With the hustle and bustle, and technology of today, we have all gotten away from this medium of communication. Hopefully we will find our way back...

Here are a few pics of the cards that I received via snail mail. Honestly, they were so gorgeous, that I didn't even want to use them.

The Scoop | National Ice Cream Day is this Sunday, but...

Us cats are super excited because this Sunday is National Ice Cream Day--as declared by the Prez back in the day in 1984!

We're SO EXCITED that we're busting out the FCC cart early and wheelin' it over to Hello Lucky on Saturday @1 pm. We'll also have some non-dairy treats for non-dairy and non-dairy curious cats alike.
