Hello|Lorina and Zachary
It had been just over a week since Lorina had attended her father’s funeral alone. It had also been just under a week since her mother had kicked her from the family house and decided that she could no longer look upon someone she found a disgrace. The brunette knew that she couldn’t stay in the summer cottage house her family had, and her father left for her in his will, for a moment longer. She needed to get out – and working a couple of hours in the morning did no longer suffice.
The brunette had spent some time in the bookshop, having left her bicycle outside. Work was good fifteen minutes on her bicycle but she didn’t mind it – she enjoyed the exercise. “Thank you for this.” Lorina smiled as she waved to Mr. Jenkins as she moved to the front door. “Oh and tell Barbara that I hope the baby is doing well.” Lorina spoke of the bookstore owner’s daughter, who had just had a baby girl.
“I will, Lorina, and thank you again for this morning.” She nodded as she smiled, moving outside the store and to her surprise found that her bicycle was no longer where she believed she had left it. “Oh no…” she whispered, looking around in case she had imagined putting it in the wrong place. Dropping the book that Mr. Jenkins had given to her into her basket of fruit, Lorina furrowed her brow.
“Where is it..?” The brunette pondered, leaning against the store wall, it would take her a terrible trek back to the cottage now.
