Makita no podía dejar de ver el techo de la cueva, realmente era mágico. Las famosas larvas luminiscentes eran un espectáculo digno de admirar. De niñas se la pasaban juntas todo el tiempo, pero ahora que ambas trabajaban el tiempo que podían compartir se había reducido, además de que Fei viajaba mucho. En ese momento se encontraban en lanchas diferentes, ya que las habían distribuido según el cupo de los que habían llegado a la Cueva Waimoto.

Volteó a su alrededor tratando de buscar a su amiga con la mirada, pero a pesar de la bioluminiscencia no era suficiente para distinguir su rostro, aunque si veía la lancha en la que iba. Accidentalmente se recargó de más en la persona que estaba a su lado que era una chica de cabello rubio platinado -Oh disculpa- le dijo, aunque no se había recargado gran cosa -estaba tratando de ver a mi amiga, pero no lo logro -trató de escusarce -¿qué hay de tí, vienes sola?
