Hello Bully

Who goes to Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center for a CAT scan and comes home wearing a bow tie and smelling like perfume? Tyrion Pittister, that's who! He made lots of new friends at PVSEC! He recovered well from the procedure and we will have more news in the coming days as we speak with surgeons about his options. We're happy to say that we think it's good news, all things considered! 

Thank you to everyone who called in and donated directly to his care. We will be doing more fundraising for his care in the coming weeks. If you're in the Pittsburgh area, this is a great non-profit organization that helps pit bulls. Just last month, they helped to rescue over a dozen pit bulls used in a fighting ring from Jam's childhood home. We spent about 30 minutes today at Petco talking to the resident (and awesome!) dog trainer there, who volunteers for the organization a lot. Hellobully is always looking for volunteers - to walk/play with/snuggle the eff out of rescued pit bulls, to man information tables at events, etc etc etc. I signed up today and so should you. :)

Oh, and here's a cute picture of Rhea to add to the incentive. She was never used in dog-fighting (thank goodness) but she is a rescued pit. You could be snuggling a dog this adorable!
