Crownslayer crouched on the perch made of jagged rubble, her dark attire helping her blend into the shadows it created. All the while repressing the urge to growl at the sight of the familiar gray figure. She wasn’t given any forewarning about Rhodes heading their way - had they sniffed out this hideout of theirs already? What were her scouts doing, to let RHODES’ goons get this close without telling her? 

The assassin’s ears would pin back, gears turning in her head as she ran through her options - before sending a hand signal towards one of her underlings who wisely hadn’t engaged the Lupo yet, disappearing from her spot in a cloud of smoke with full intent to lunge towards their unwanted intruder.

　 　 Call for back-up.

Lappland was not someone she wanted to confront if she could help it - but she might just have to. If they couldn’t drive the Lupo out, then she could at least serve as a distraction.

Time to hit and run.

Hi you reblogged one of my posts about the pokemon manga and I have since been scrolling down your blog

Anyway Pokemon manga is crazy because it gave me all the entirely wrong ideas for the wider world of pokemon media

I remember being like 8 or 9, and the only way I could read the manga was from the library. But I was only able to get whatever volumes were there, so I'd read the 1st book from one series, and then the 15th book from another and jump back to the first series but it would be book 9 and I have no idea what's going on.

And because of this, I got all sorts of misconceptions and confusions about what was going.

I also thought the Elite 4 was just the name for an evil group of people and got very confused when seeing the pokemon games and anime because "Why do they keep making these groups, they just end up evil???"

oof that’s a mood lmao, when I was like 7 my parents got me one of the books (bc I was obsessed with the anime and they wanted me to read more lol), but it was like. from the middle of the series and I was s o confused and just kinda dropped it oop–

like when I started reading it again from the actual book one I was like. huh. so that’s why I was so confused. bc the book I used to have had Gold in it, and I don’t remember if he was the protagonist of that book or just there, but exbo was fully evolved so it wasn’t even from the beginning of the series XD

just inherent to the pokemon universe. If you name something “the elite four” it WILL just end up evil. there's no stopping it. best way to prevent organized crime is to simply stop making groups named “the elite four” XD

(personally I’m REALLY fond of sort of the opposite like. they’re not but WHAT IF the pokemon manga and anime were the same universe. its hilarious to think about one of the main antagonists who came so close to ending the entire fucking human race just. slowly morphing into the pokemon universe’s most overworked lil guys lmfao. what if Lance still had the same backstory. He used to be a criminal living in the woods and now he’s doing everyone’s paperwork. I don’t know why I find that concept so funny but I d o –) (but also the way the manga handles its antagonists absolutely fascinates me I swear someone give me enough free time to talk about this I am GNAWING at the bars of my c a g e )
