I can love you more than they hate
Doesn't matter who they will blame
We can beat them at their own game"

Happy December! Hope everyone's been staying safe and warm (or safe and cool, if you're in the southern hemisphere!)

More old guard stuff cus I saw the pic of them and I NEEDED TO DRAW IT
Hi, hi! Time to confess-
I've had this thing in my drafts for a month or so... there was always something I didn't like or something taking my time, so today I decided to just have fun with it! (✿◡‿◡)
I still don't love it, but if I don't get this out I'll just perish with it-
More ER x CoD
You've got the most difficult patient ever. The nurses are smitten with him, half of the doctors leave his bed laughing, and he shows up only when you're on shift (which isn't that hard). John Andrew MacTavish is a pain in your ass, but unfortunately, he refuses to see his general practitioner for this, and he's always got someone following behind him. And he won't let you call him anything except his first name.
Riley is, by far, the best of them. Sure, Kyle will play nice until John drags him into some weird competition. Jon tries to be nice, but you can always see that film over his eyes, the kind that people get when talking to children that don't understand the world yet. But Riley? He's quiet, and he doesn't try to hide his displeasure around you.
John tries to ease the air, but every visit that Riley joins him on is filled with him glaring at you, and ends with you threatening to shove a needle in his ass. He hates being in the hospital, and you hate having him hover and constantly question your ability to practice medicine.
So, you can't be blamed for nearly killing him when he shows up on his own one day, half of his arm missing and still somehow throwing insults at you. Maybe you're a little rough with his arm, but that's between you and the sick grin on Riley's face.
