Black Jack's only intent in going out to the city was to run errands and enjoy some Ochazuke before he left Japan for an important operation. What he got, instead, was a shirt coated with tea and rice, as a ridiculous looking man in an impractical red coat bumped into him, a small black cat in his arms. It looked far from healthy, though with the man obscuring the creature, Black Jack couldn't determine exactly what was wrong with it. Besides, the strange man was distracting his analytical capabilities somewhat.
He seemed to be wearing armor, kevlar or something similar, with an almost impractical amount of belts all over him. There was a ridiculous amount of buttons on his asymmetrical, eye-catching red coat, and more startlingly, a gun. How did one get a gun past the current laws? He must have either been rich, a foreigner, or dangerous-- possibly a combination of the three. After all, he was obviously not an on-duty cop.
Strangely bent, opaque yellow glasses obscured his eyes somewhat, which was likely their intent. They didn't seem very effective for anything despite that, except perhaps protecting eyes from the harsh sun. Even so, they had a glare to them that made sight impractical. Clearly more for hiding the expression than anything else. And then there was the hair... well, he wasn't in a position to comment on strange hair, but the styling was definitely unusual. Even more so because it didn't seem to actually be styled. It seemed to be hanging naturally, gravity be damned.
All of this was processed in a few moments, and once the strangeness wore off, an expression of irritation was plain on his face. After all, it was his favorite food that was now all over his suit.
"Hey!" He said, baring his teeth. The sick-looking cat seemed to calm him down the moment it re-entered his memory, however. Still looking grumpy, he asked, "Is this your cat?"
