Norman Bates with a Witchy S/O
- Norman is amazed by the concept of wicca. He’s lived a sheltered life so when he finds out that you practice, he is very very interested.
- He’s amazed because when he thinks of witches or sees witches in the media, he often thinks of tiny ugly green people dressed in black with wart filled noses, not his cute s/o.
- He supports you all the way, but he is apprehensive at first. If you leave your tarot deck or a spell book out, Norman will avoid it like the plague. He does not understand magick, and does not want to accidently disrupt any witchy activity is going on.
- Norman thinks tarot is so cool. The first time that you offer to do a tarot reading he is amazed. He thinks the cards are so pretty and will ask what each one means in depth.
- Norman is also quite the fan of pendulums. He will periodically ask you to break your pendulum to ask some questions to it. He won’t touch the pendulum because again, he has a deep seated fear of screwing with magick, but will look on in awe as your pendulum gives him answers.
- If you use herbs or plants for your practice, Norman will suggest planting a little garden. Norman loves to garden and views owning a garden for your practice as a bonding experience. He will definitely help you maintain the garden. He will also ask what each plant does and what they can be used for.
- Norman doesn’t mind you collecting bones for your practice. Bones and dead things don’t really bother Norman, considering his hobby for taxidermy and the fact that he is technically a serial killer. He is curious about the bones and will ask about where they came from and what you can use them for.
- If you celebrate Yule, Norman will celebrate with you! Norman celebrates Christmas, but will make and active effort to celebrate with you and attempts to combine the traditions. He is very interested about the holiday and is thrilled to share elements of Christmas with you.
- If you have an alter or if you do deity work, Norman will try to find small little offering for you to put on said alter. Deep down, Norman will claim that it is because he just wants to support you, which he does, but he is also lowkey a little spooked because he doesn’t fully understand deities and just wants to appease them.
- Overall, Norman is a very supportive boyfriend and will do anything to help support you and your craft.
