It's a hard hit probably caused some level of pain for the sinner that was in the way of the pathway. The drunk fellow fell with some grace into the gutter muttering a sorry so something of the sort he was more busy checking the top of cane wasn't damaged.

Slowly, he'd feel his racing heart begin to calm, horns retracting back into his skull, her voice, her touch, grounding, working to bring him back to reality.
