Hellraiser: Inferno

So, I've seen the first five Hellraiser movies so far and it's so strange how different and inconsistent Pinhead (amongst the other cenobites as well) actually is:

Hellraiser (1987) – Pinhead is an entity that can be summoned by solving the box and will inflict very gory and kinky death upon whoever solve the box.

Hellbound: Hellraiser II – Pinhead is a human turned cenobite by Leviathan and will inflict very gory and kinky death upon whoever idea and desire it was to solve the box.

Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth – Pinhead is a slasher antagonist that kills whoever he wants and some of his victims can also became cenobites without any input from Leviathan.

Hellraiser: Bloodline – Pinhead is a random slasher antagonist again, but this time with a goal of finding and killing a family of whoever designed the box with a help of literal princess of hell, who can also become a cenobite or whatever plus it seems like the thing that suffered the worst gory death was the screenplay of this movie.

Hellraiser: Inferno – Pinhead was barely in this movie, can shapeshift and instead of hell there's a really complicated illusion almost completely ignoring the pleasure part of the original concept.

I'm not sure if I want to watch the other movies, but I wonder if they'll stretch and distort the character even more.

on the opening credits for Hellraiser: Inferno (where's the number 5, guys?), and, they got John Turturro's brother in this? let's see if he's as good as his brother, i've never seen him in anything (at least i don't think i have) so here's to hoping he's as good an actor because if so, i'm going to be pretty entertained, especially if Scott Derrickson directs the shit out of this.
