@hopewrought sent: 🌹 She's giving Alex some dead grass from the side of the path just outside the Overseer's Tower. "Looks like it's seen better days, hasn't it? And the same goes for your little fiefdom here. It was inevitable though, you Weskers destroy everything you touch."
"We have yet to start, dear Icarus." Heels click upon metal as she steps oh so slowly towards the glass blocking them from each other. "Do I need to regale the tale? I'm sure you know it." There's a noticeable glint under the light from a button tucked under her crossed arms. She still had plans for the other, which begged the question: Does she mean they have yet to start their path of destruction, or just the experiment she is about to subject the other to? Only time will tell.
Her heels stopped two feet from the glass. Bright blue eyes stared past the dead grass and at the other, and acted as though they were looking through her, pondering something; Pondering her rage, pondering her grief, pondering the blood lust which used to rage through her veins and begged to come forth again in due time. To see the one who pushed her brother to the brink face to face.. it would be so tempting to strangle the fire from Bethany's eyes and soul right then and there, to watch her burn in the sun.
But it would have to wait. For now. There were more important matters at play.
"Be careful not to fly too close to the sun." Click, goes her thumb over the hidden button, which let gas into the glass room Bethany stood in. Back into the abyss of unconsciousness does the other go, and so the heels turn and click their way back to her monitors.
"Stuart, have the guards secure our dear Icarus in her cell. Make sure she waits until we're ready this time."
