The bots and blocking tumblr live are just tumblr's version of chores. You've got your dishes (bots) that realllly become a time-consuming (≈2 mins) chore if you let them get out of hand but easy if you do it day by day. Muting tumblr live is a bit more like laundry, don't have to do it every day, only once a week, and sure it takes a minute at first but then you get to blissfully forget about it for a while
