    His reply was said around a small exhale out, taking some relief from his dad’s reassurance as he nodded his head and turned back toward his bag. He WANTED to go to Camp Spooky. He did. Yet...well, thinking about all that WILDERNESS put a tight knot in his stomach--something he wanted to get rid of, but nothing seemed to keep it from coming back. He continued to shove some of his clothing into the bag before pausing and turning back toward his dad again.

    “I got this. Wilderness survival is NOTHING, it’ll be fine. Still, like...if I get chased by a bear into the woods and I can’t get cell signal, what then?”

    Not that we WOULD, but it helped to be prepared. It WAS all about being prepared, wasn’t it?

What are your top three favorite animals?

“Favorite animals? That’s easy. Third place goes to raccoons, they’re stupid cute and live off of trash, just like me. Second place goes to bears, you know the ones, the ones that are covered in fur, muscly and tends to be named Scott. First place goes to dogs, I don’t know, I just like them man... they’re sweet, loyal and don’t care if you smell like expired beef jerky, I think my living self used to have a ST. Bernard.”

“My patronus would be a penguin, because being a stay-at-home dad sounds like something I would want to be.”
