How did the new episodes manage to be worst
Literally. It's like when you don't think it can get any worse, these two episodes were the worst ones yet in my honest opinion
Episode 3 made me lose what little respect I had left for Charlie and Husk. Charlie for obvious reasons and Husk because he saw that Angel was obviously uncomfortable and scared, and then sided with Charlie. And the argument between him and Angel is so forced, not mention Husk threatening him with physical violence at one point, which is, once again, played for comedy
But I did like the Pentious/Cherry song, if only we got to see them actually become characters first and interact with each other outside of one singular episode. Also there is no reason for Baxter to be here, he's a pointless character that barely shows up
And episode 4 is so unbelievably racist it's insane, and I'm not just talking about the Alastor/Rosie song (a horrible decision to do this to my girl Rosie) but Niffty's song too. At one point during the Japanese section Charlie legit goes "Can anyone even understand this?" Which is just completely unnecessary and didn't need to be put in at all
I honestly just wish Niffty was an actual character instead of just "the crazy one" I will die on my hill of saying Loser, Baby should've gone to Husk and Niffty, since he can actually relate to her situation considering they're both owned by Alastor
Vox's whole reason for hating Alastor is so stupid, he was literally mean to him once 70 years ago. Sure, everything that was said was unnecessary and probably felt like a huge betrayal at the time, but still; 70 years ago. Also I am not falling for the woobification of Vox when he was a cult leader in his life. You're not going to make me coo and fawn over the cult leader
One last thing, is it just me or are the songs pretty lackluster in this season compared to the first? Because even though season 1 still wasn't great it at least had catchy, fun songs. And so far season 2 only has three songs I like. Idk but I hope the songs pick back up again
But I did like the fight between Alastor and the Vees, I thought that was a pretty cool scene :)
