For some reason, I haven't been getting notifications on submissions- I just popped into my inbox and saw a lot of things that surprised me! So a few pieces have been queued up! I'd also like to throw this out there: When submitting, be sure that there is no problematic text attached to your image! This can include very long infodumps (While interesting, I don't like to dash-stretch!), slurs, or offensive statements. I'm not super picky, and I can be pretty profane, myself, but some things I don't want to pass along to you guys. ;D

Hell Yeah, Challenges!
We're gonna take this out on a trial run! Hell Yeah, OCs art challenges!
Here's the skinny: You, my dear follower, should you choose to participate, will draw your original character to suit the theme of the challenge, and either post your entry to your own blog with the tag 'hellyeahchallenges', or submit it to this blog with a note that it's intended to be an entry. Your piece can be a sketch, a finished painting, a doodle, or a masterpiece- Whatever, as long as it's an image, fits the theme, and is your character. Hot dog.
Unlike the standard submission process: Every piece submitted will be accepted and posted. You draw it for us, we show it off!
The pieces will be published/reblogged, en masse: On or after the end date, under the tag 'hellyeahchallengenumber1', so you may block or track as you please.
This week's challenge is: Pokemonverse! Draw your character as a trainer, with their team. Would their outfit change, if they were dropped into the pokeverse? Their accessories? Have fun with it!
The challenge is up: June 24th. You have ten days! If you have concerns about the deadlines, or questions, shoot us an ask! If you're feeling generous, give the challenge post a reblog and spread the word!
Out of curiosity, how many of you would be interested in participating in the occasional drawing challenge? Something OC-centric, like.. 'Draw your humanoid OC as an animal', or, 'Draw your OC as part of your favorite fictional universe'? Those are some really basic examples, but you get the idea! I'd probably announce it, give you a set amount of time, then publish / reblog all the entries under a certain tag? (I guess shoot an ask in or reblog this if you'd be down. ;D)
Unrelated, but: Quick reminder! If you hate the sound of my voice, you can blacklist 'hellyeahtext' to stop seeing asks and text posts from this blog. An alternative would be tracking 'hellyeahtext', so you don't miss anything! ;D If there's ever anything you want me to see, I track 'hellyeahocs'. ;D Carry on!
