I feel really embarrassed to be asking for help, but I made a fundraiser to try to help get funds for my dog, Teddy’s upcoming surgery for a badly abscessed tooth he needs removed. Any small amount would be soooo very helpful. I want to keep this fundraiser off of Facebook because I don't want my family to know how much I am struggling right now and the fact that I am skipping meals in attempt to make sure I can afford to save my sweet boy’s life.
He is currently on antibiotics twice a day for two weeks to fight the infection his tooth is causing him, but after his two week course, it needs to come out. If the tooth does not get removed, the infection could spread which could be potentially fatal. Many of you know that I do work in the veterinary field, I do not make very much money especially since I am current just in training to work as a vet assistant, and while my work does not cover his treatment entirely, I do get his surgery discounted. This procedure can run, on average between $600-1000, yet thankfully the Doctor I work with is approximating that it will only cost around $400-500 to preform.
I am currently skipping meals, not going out to shows or any social events and trying to find any way to make extra money to help cover his surgery but I would be forever grateful if anyone is able to pitch in any amount to help.
