Of projects that I've finished for myself, afghans and socks are the most common. Of course, I had to start a new project in the middle of con prep, with roughly a million other projects already in progress >.>
Pattern is "Slouch Socks" from "Not Just More Socks" by Sandi Rosner. Yarn is a self- striping, but company and colorway are lost to posterity. Helper Kitty/ background is Kuma, keeping my lap warm on this rainy morning.

There's a lot to be said for stepping away from the comfort of preferred pallets. This print isn't one that I'd reach for if I was making myself a garment, but I saw it in the remnant bin, where it screamed "kimono." It reminds me of the reality bold colours of the Taisho Era (roughly 1920s).
