He just loves the smells of the outdoors! He's 14+ years old and we got him when he was 7. Although he was found outside from the shelter and he's a little traumatized by the outside, he loves the smells and cannot help being called to them like the wild man he is. Much love as always to all of y'all from me!! Hehehe Ɛ> MWAH!!!
Sometimes life isn’t about careers or finances or long term goals. Sometimes it’s about holding on to your cat and promising the both of you that you’ll be okay because you have each other. I’ll follow him to the end of the line, whichever one of us leaves first the other will always follow. That’s how it’s always been and how it’ll always be. I’ll follow you into the dark, Smokey. I know you’d do the same.
the Old Lady. Her purr is so quiet you can't hear it, only feel it
Bedraggled little man
I had to de-poop him, then had to wash him. Seems that fluids have to happen twice a week to avoid that. Well, now I know.

[Video ID: a grey tabby cat curled up asleep on a blanket. She meows in her sleep, her voice sounding raspy. /end]
Here's the video I promised. This is Chico, the cat I had for the majority of my life (we had her for 21 years and estimate she was 23 when she passed away a few years ago). She had a voice like Marge Simpson, or like someone who'd smoked a pack a day for years. And in about 2019 or 2020, she went through a phase where she meowed in her sleep.
I stumbled across the video on Facebook a couple weeks ago and got nostalgic hearing her voice. Her default state was being so loud and brash that every cat I've met since has seemed like they're whispering in comparison. She was very cuddly and patient (she tolerated a lot as long as she got cuddles for it). She loved her humans and always insisted on being near them
I miss her sometimes
