— Hi! I'm Insanity (or Sage). I'm queer (woah big surprise) and I use he/him. I'm an artist, writer, and certified yapper. I mainly draw fanart and occasionally OC (original character) art.
this blog is only for funnies and not anything business related. I am thinking about taking commissions, but if I were to I would not do it on tumblr (subject to change).
RULES: (PLEASE READ)
— do not try to befriend me outside of tumblr speak. i am fine with being moots (mutuals) and casually talking about art or fandom stuff but please do not try to give me your phone number, or meet up with me, i am a minor and i'm not interested.
— do not ask me about my personal life unless it has to do with uploading schedules or something i previously mentioned on my blog. if i wanted you to know something i would tell you.
— do not mention things sexual on my blog, like i said, i'm a minor, but i'm also asexual and i don't like things like that mentioned. even if it is a joke, please don't say anything like that on my blog.
— please don't ever @ or mention me in any posts that are nsfw.
— asks about the things i write are always welcome, but sometimes i can't reveal what you want me to for the sake of keeping the plot interesting.
— fanart and things are always welcome
— like a lot of other mcyt fan fiction writers, i NEVER want my fan-fiction sent or mentioned to creators if there is ANY ship content in it.
— don't send my ship FANART to creators either.
— i don't do rpf (real people fiction/fanfiction) don't accuse me of it. anything i write/draw is characters, ALWAYS.
— asking for fic recommendations or giving me fic recommendations is always welcome! but please please please don't recommend or send me E (explicit) fic, or fics with sexual content.
— taking inspiration is welcome, if you use my design for something though, please credit me.
— i would always love to see fics inspired by mine, send them to me.
— unless i ask, don't criticize my writing or art. i know i'm a beginner writer, you don't have to tell me.
— like i said before, i don't take commissions or requests.
— if my upload schedule seems weird, i know it is, i don't have a schedule most of the time, i post when i feel i need to or want to.

This is just for the jounin sensei gen and a few characters in that age range, I've made other charts for both the age order for the Konoha Eleven and the ages/birthdates of the elevens parents and the suspected ages of the parent gen during the 2nd/3rd war - so if yall need those charts they're available)
any recommended stim toys? i need some new ones, especially ones that would be discreet at school
Glad you asked this when I was in the mood to organize my stuff! Here are some suggestions I have after careful listening as I used them!
Good fidget/stim toys for school:
1. Sugar balls
There are big, small, and average types of sugar balls. Basically, they're balls filled with clear glue/thick gel and when squished they rise slowly. Also, they're usually soft when squished slowly, and resistant when squished hard. (Definitely the case with nee doh nice cubes and gumdrops. Regular sugar balls are easier to squish in general, in my opinion.)
There can be sounds when your fingers stick to them slightly and are pulled away (honestly not noticable with the slightest background noise so not a big deal probably), but if you put one in your pocket, not only is it hidden, but it's still the same level of satisfying from squishing it!
2: small foam squishies
A classic! Squishies come in all kinds of sizes, including small enough to go on keychains and fit into a pocket with no issue! Super quiet, and if you see them in store, more than likely you can test their firmness and pick which one suits your taste the best!
3: worry stones and the like
A worry stone is basically any object with a smooth surface for sliding your thumb against. For me, a piece of jewelry I found on my grandmas floor has legit no resistance and is super calming to slide my thumb around on. Fidget cubes also have a worry stone side, and sometimes even erasers give the same effect! (To me anyway. Any surface that's calming and small and easy to feel fits, as they show)
OH and fidget cubes have two silent buttons to press, if you enjoy that!
4: silly putty/thinking putty
Depending on how its played with, putty can be super quiet and also not a big distraction as long as there isnt tons of it. (maybe more dull colors are better for class?) But, if you play with it with enough energy to cause bubbles, those bubbles will pop when its pinched or squished in a certain way. A good alternative though: KNEADED ERASERS. They're like putty but a slightly different texture and should be more fine for class.
5: hedge balls
Hedge balls (this one very firm with a good thick, solid center) when squeezed, apply pressure to your skin with their little prickles. This pressure can help people, and I do believe people can also pick at the prickles! They arent for everyone, but who knows? If someone didnt know what they were, maybe they now think they need one!
If you want me to try suggesting more, lemme know! Also, anyone can reblog this with more suggestions as well! Helping people with class stims seems IMPORTANT!!
EDIT: I LEFT OUT MARBLE MESH FIDGETS:
Small enough for most pockets, and moving the marble back and forth makes no noise!
when i was a child i lived in a neighborhood with jacaranda trees. the soft, purple flowers would fall and decorate the floor like snow. when the sun would set, the orange glow upon me and the flowers would feel like something in a daydream. i fell in love with the colors of the sunset. i would intentionally take my time walking home, just to walk through the neighborhood a little slower. when the sun would begin to set, it felt like time itself was paused for me and only me.
but even as time passed, i would pick up the jacarandas and put them in my room, in my hair, in my pockets and clothes. it complemented and reminded myself of who i was, even when i did not know the answer to that question at the time. the colors of the sunset became the colors of my childhood. my synesthesia made it taste like something out of a dream. i needed more. i wanted more. my room was painted with lavender walls. colors of purple with warmth became my paradise.
but then, tragedy struck.
my indulgence for the colors became more evident, i began to express myself, visually, vocally, loudly, with the colors of the flame. bright. bold. fire. i became what i endeared the most - i became warm. and warmer. bright. and brighter. dangerously alive. i was a flame that could not be extinguished. until - my mother would tell me, 'you are like a flame. it is bright now, but it will die out.'
'you will grow up to be alone.'
'miserable.'
little did she know. fire that has been extinguished, can be ignited once again. the tragedy is not what my mother had told me, but the tragedy of her failing to realize who i was. who i am.
so, who am i, my dear reader? i am the fire. the ash. and the breath of the flame. i am everything. i am anything.
hi hello hey how the heck do you draw hands that well like what the fuck. u must be a god or something holy shitshfkkskf
👏use references👏 (pictures, but also your own hands too!)
simplify them, I almost always start with one of these shapes :00
Before I did some hand studies I thought that the palm always stayed flat, but that is very much not the case KSDFJKLSD (touch your thumb to your pinky, see how scrunched up it gets??)
SO, a big brain moment for me was imaging the palm of the hand as like,,, this fleshy slab with a couple of rods (the bones of the palm) running through it.
don't forget about these two globs
and look for these sort of lines
just like when you're drawing full body poses, hands have a line of action too :0
