🛍 SHOP LOCAL 🛍 After hearing about so many local farms really hurting right now, and their crops just rotting away, I decided to do my part. Even though it wasn’t a lot I drove out to one of my favs @longandscott today to grab some@fresh veggies 🌽 and peaches 🍑 ! Everyone was so nice and helpful, and the produce was so yummy!!! If you can, find a local farm, see if they are selling produce and pick some up. Where I live looks almost apocalyptic at the moment. The blue in these pictures show the area the water in this huge dam usually covers. Now it is a few sad puddles, surrounded by a sea of parched earth, where lush green paddocks used to lay. This is heartbreaking and scary. And I am nowhere near the worst of it, where the bodies of starved livestock litter dusty ground that can no longer feed them.
