Help-Portrait has come and gone, but the memories and the smiles will be around for a while. On Saturday we met single moms, widowed fathers, homeless veterans, hungry kiddos, and many others who came to have their photo taken but were given so much more. It's the @help_portrait Mannequin Challenge!!!!! So many friends and wildly talented people here ready to serve others...it's one of my absolute FAVORITE events to film each year! #helpportraitlexington (at Southland Christian Church)
Each December, volunteers for Help-Portrait find people in need, take their picture, print it and then deliver it—free of charge. This past Saturday in Lexington, Kentucky, 363 guests attended, 157 people volunteered, 289 portraits were given and an immeasurable number of lives were positively impacted.
