I wanted to get in touch to submit my new single Poison Ivy to your Breakup playlists. Think it suits the theme of your playlist perfectly- as its intention is to address being comfortable with indulging in things or places you know you are not meant to be/ being with someone we should let go, but we rather hold on to it and guard it with our lives because we are so afraid of closing an old chapter and starting on a blank one. Look forward to hearing your thoughts on this one- would love a playlisting opportunity.
Best,
Hemi

Hemi,
Firstly, I want to address my lateness; I don’t know how long this was in my inbox but I’m only seeing it now — ugh. I apologize for the delay, but, I finally listened to your song just now, and I plan on listening to your other ones as well! You’ve got a really great sound, which just happens to be among my favourite genres. 😎 As for adding it to my playlist — I read the lyrics, and it definitely earns a spot. I know it will resonate with a lot of people. Thank you for submitting it — for sharing your gift with us. Artists such as yourself are the reason so many of us can cope during difficult times (and celebrate during good times!).

Check out Poison Ivy on Spotify and/or on SoundCloud! This song will be added to my Heartbreak playlist on Spotify as well.

Earlier today, I commented about the sheer amount of R&B/pop and electronic/dance tracks that sound utterly similar to one other these days, each one blending into the next, and rarely a one that stands out memorably. But I also noted that there’s always diamonds in the rough, even though there’s a whole lot of rough to sift through to find them. Fast forward to this afternoon, and one such shining diamond miraculously appeared on my plate. Though I can’t find much information regarding newcomer Hemi Moore, he left me with my jaw on the floor with what looks to be his first single, All My Sins. Its R&B soul is intimate and sincere, forlorn and raw. Hemi Moore’s voice tugs at our hearts with its soulful power and vulnerable fragility. It’s as if it’s about to splinter under the weight of his emotions. He bares his heart, confesses his sins, on the phenomenal track. All My Sins is sure to pick up a whole lot of buzz in the scene, and we can’t wait to learn more about Hemi Moore.
