Hemisphaerius formosus
(not sure if there is a common name for it)
this insects is an obscure species of plant hopper of the family issidae. not much is known about them. they probably behave similarly to other planthoppers in that they use hopping as a main means of locomotion and have a diet of mostly plants. their most distinguishing characteristic is their coloration which is vastly different than the usual green and brown of normal planthoppers they are brightly colored having deep red and turquoise stripes along their backs (possibly as a show of toxicity?)
