The Equinox always makes me think
I want 6 - 8 menhirs/liths so I can make my own henge. This is a longstanding (forgive the pun) goal; I can remember trying to figure out where to site a henge when I was still in my twenties. No, I have never seen one in person*. No, I am not a druid. I don't know WHY I want a stone circle so badly.
Hmm. Yes. I would need 8 of them. Two to mark North and South, and three pairs to mark the angle of sunrise/sunset at the equinox and the summer & winter solstices.
However, I think Tumblr may be the ONLY place where I could talk about this and have an understanding audience. It is such a delight to be a Weird Kid™ here.
'* Well, I have seen a reconstruction of Stonehenge - a full-size model made of gigantic styrofoam blocks in a rural area of Virginia.
