“Goodness, it’s the 15th already?” 

A small yawn from the man as he puts down his wrench and takes off the work goggles. Time always felt fast  when he was working but forgetting a day is a first. Must finally be getting old.

“Just need to find where I put my glasses-.”

Not the first time he’s misplaced them, though they were currently sticking out of his toolbox even if he’s not noticed. Maybe the rest of the staff should pitch in and install a glasses holding box as one out of two of their bosses is utterly blind without his lenses.

“Oh, neat, talking cat!” Charles pet the asker. “Hm, I’m a bit fan of cheeseburgers!”

“French fries.” Ellie smiles. “The saltier the better.”

“Pizza.” Henry signs. “Pepperoni with extra cheese specifically.”

The red head rests his hand on the side of his face, fingers slightly nudging his glasses up, and his elbow on his desk. Henry was rather fine with the employees speaking freely and he felt like he made that policy well known.

The two of them had been married for a long while now, and yet here Henry was blushing like it was college all over again as he caught sight of the mistletoe above their heads. Still though he had a chance to be romantic here and like hell was he going to let it pass by.

“ Ah, sembra che Babbo Natale sia arrivato presto questo mese.” He says pointing up 

One Agatha looks up, he makes his move. A gentle kiss but a warm one, it feels like eternity when their lips part but he knows it wasn’t that long. That crooked grin that scrunches his nose and shows off the little gap in his front teeth. That big bear paw of a hand playing softly with her lovely hair, already missing the taste of her lips.

“He knew exactly what I wanted this year~.”

Henry had just been getting up to go on a grocery run, the man only ever noticed he was out when there was barely a crumb in the pantry, he hadn’t expected company but as he entered the living room…..there she was. A ghost of the past, though which was hard to say as a second of eye contact and his mind is racing with how much she looks like her mother. 

“...Charlotte.”

Hand in pocket, a nervous fiddle with the wedding ring he never bothered to take off as it helped him get his thoughts together. 

“W-Would you like to come in for a hot drink ? It’s cold out and I don’t want you to catch a chill….I still have the old espresso machine.”

Old thing, older than Henry, passed down from his mother to him because his sister didn’t care for the taste. Always took a couple of hits on the top of it to get it started but it made a nice cup.
