Coffee and Confidence| part two: Dancing Barefoot in the Kitchen

You woke up to the sweet aroma of coffee. Pulling his discarded button up over your head you make your way into the kitchen that's about the size of your entire studio apartment.

Seeing the way his broad back looks facing you gives you pause, admiring the view. "Something smells amazing." Wrapping your arms around his back. He smiles as he finishes pouring himself a cup, grabbing yours he hands it to you.

Smiling over the cup as you take a slow sip. "Perfect." You hum up at him.

Smiling as he sets his hands on your hips. "Yes you are." kissing you, he takes your coffee mug and sets it on the counter, lifting you with one arm sitting you on the island behind you.

Leaving kisses along your jaw. "How'd you sleep?"

"Better than I have in years."

"Yeah that bed is amazing, the silk sheets will do that."

You kiss along his stubble, loving on the natural little heart in his beard, "Or it could've been something else." You dip your head back as his mouth finds the front of your neck.

You feel him smile against your skin. "Mmm," gentle nibbles on your chin. "Glad I could be of service."

"... And service... And service... and serv--" You trailed on, enjoying the feel of his mouth.

He laughed, his forehead landing on your shoulder. Looking up at you with a twinkle in his eyes. "Dance?"

"Quite the romantic." He gently putting you down.

"Mhmm." He gave a pleasant hum.

Scrolling his phone. "Now what song?" He presses his lips together.

You smile, holding out your hand. "Let me see?" He hands you his phone. Pondering a moment before typing in a song and syncing it to his surround sound and setting his phone down on the kitchen island.

He begins dancing with you as he arches a brow in surprise. Giving a closed mouth smile. "... And she's got great taste in music."

"Oh there's a lot about me you'd be surprised to know."

Twirling you causing a giggle. "I want to know all of it."

Swaying to the music. "Tell me about you."

"Well I'm I run a multi-bill--"

She cut him off. "Not what I mean. I mean the things that matter-- things I can't find out from a quick Google search."

"I hate onions, and karaoke. I stand up for causes that are close to my heart. I can't stand anyone who's willing to hurt another just for existing. I also can't stand liars... I'd rather you tell me the truth and hurt me then be deceitful."

"Same."

He laughed, "To all of those?"

"Yes. Karaoke is the worse." Scrounging up your face causing him to chuckle.

"Finally! Someone gets it." He tilts his head back in a charming laugh causing you to laugh. You pull him into a slow kiss.

Picking you up, you wrap your legs around his waist. He set you on the edge of the kitchen table, pressing a large hand on your chest pressing you down. You gasp as two strong hands wrap around your thighs pulling you to the edge, his mouth finding your heat.

"Let me have my dessert before I whip us up some breakfast."
