With the recent release of Money No Enough 3, and as a Singaporean, I decided to watch all 3 movies in the franchise and do a Tiny Review on the franchise as a whole.

The original Money No Enough was a milestone in Singapore’s (barely existent even to this day) film industry, way back in 1998.

The original is the best of the lot, imo. Mainly cos the latter two dragged on way too long and would have been better in a TV drama serial format.

Money No Enough(1, 2, and 3) is a Singaporean comedy film franchise written by Jack Neo. All three movies star Singaporean actors, Jack Neo, Mark Lee and Henry Thia.

Audiences watching “Wonderful! Liang Xi Mei” may be a little upset to find out that Liang Xi Mei is absent for the bulk of the film. But that is arguably the best part of the supposed comedy film, which came out solely to capitalise on the bored Chinese New Year moviegoing crowd.
