save yourself, homestuck’s really really long and also not very good. its not worth it

thankfully, i don’t have the time or energy to start it at this point in my life, so i’m probably safe.

just, every so often, i think to myself: maybe i should read at least the very beginning of homestuck so that i can see what it’s like. but i’ve learned that that voice right there is the devil talking.

everybody i know that is/was into homestuck only really cared about the lore and setting and the concepts of the characters because andrew hussie really cannot write a good story

like the characters separate from homestuck as a story are good, but the story itself is really bad

hussie also throws a *lot* of new concepts at the audience constantly, most of which arent really important. its super bad for making a comprehensible story but really good for people who want to take those concepts and run with them (its also good for hussie stroking his own ego but thats mostly just my own personal issue with him)    

see, but Julie, the same is literally exactly true of supernatural. and guess what happened to me when i started watching that? against my will, i became a supernatural. what if i become a homestuck.
